Mary Tina Sandoval

Mary Tina Sandoval went to be with our Lord on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the age of 55.

She is preceded in death by her brother Rudy Sandoval; maternal grandparents: Dora and Salvador Rodriguez; and paternal grandparents: Magealena and Candido Sandoval.

She is survived by her parents: Margaret Rose and Floyed Sandoval; children: Jerome Jojola, Francine "Fran" Ortega and spouse Fernando; brothers: Vincent Sandoval, Floyd M. Sandoval; sisters: Brenda Sandoval, Angel Garcia and spouse Marty, Sonya Sandoval; grandchildren: Fernando, Olivia; former husband Jerry Jojola; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mary Tina was a fantastic grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. When she saw her daughter or came to visit her first question was always, "Where's my grandson?".

Her son, Jerome, was her pride and joy. No matter what time of day or what he needed she would always move mountains for him. He will forever be her baby boy.

As for her daughter, Fran, oh how proud of her she was for all that she has accomplished. Mary Tina was so appreciative of everything Fran and Fern had done for her.

Mary Tina adored both of her children. They were her world.

She was a dedicated member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, music, and dance.

Mary Tina was full of joy and laughter to all who knew her. Her love of life and kindness to others will be greatly missed.

Mary Tina's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. A Catholic Service will follow at 5:00 pm.

Pallbearers will be Victor Rodriguez, Jerry Jojola, Dominic Romero, Yvonne Chavez, Michael Sanchez II, and Andrew Leyba.

Honorary pallbearer will be Yvette Sanchez.

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend Mary Tina's Visitation and Service. Salazar Mortuary has a capacity of 10 people allowed inside the funeral home at one time. For the Visitation we will be switching out groups of 10 and we ask that attendees wait INSIDE of their vehicles until we are ready to escort the next group of 10 inside. For the Service there will be 10 people alowed to attend.
