Meghan Anne McQuerry

May 6, 1994 — August 12, 2026

Meghan Anne McQuerry, our precious little princess, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

Meghan was preceded in death by her sister Ashley, grandpa and grandma Roland and Jennie, uncle Bill, and auntie Frances.

She is survived by her dad Frank, mom Jacquie, brother Frankie, uncle Roland, auntie Diana, cousins: Anthony, Theresa and family, uncle Carl, Auntie Melissa, cousin Nick, uncle Rodney, cousin Vanessa, Gabe and family, cousins: Larry, Deanna, and family, great aunt Jolene, cousins Henry, Missy, Christoper, Mathew and family. Thank you to Meghan’s “extended family” - Lyrelene, Rashae and Raelynn, for being a part of her life. Also thanks to all our wonderful neighbors and friends as well as anyone who had thoughts and prayers for our Meghan.

Meghan was born May 6, 1994, in Albuquerque New Mexico, where she lived all her life. She was a graduate of Del Norte High School “Class of 2012”, later attending University of New Mexico where she graduated with a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Meghan enjoyed baking while listening to her favorite singer “Selena”, whose movie she could never finish watching without crying. She sometimes shared recipes with her neighbor Eric, and anyone who had her biscochitos could attest to how good a baker she was. Another passion she had was making and experimenting with her coffees and expressos, - we considered her quite the little barista.

She loved traveling with her family, especially to Disneyland, Disneyworld, and of course New York. Driving her “prized” Jeep, spending time with her dogs Sam and Dean who brought much love and happiness in her life, also named after characters in one of her favorite shows Supernatural. As well as spending time doing anything with her family. Her brother Frankie could make her laugh and smile in even the most difficult times in her life. Her favorite time of year was Fall, with Halloween being her favorite holiday, which she loved decorating for. Another one of her favorite pastimes was spending time with her good friend Sara El Gaby, who we called her “adopted sister”, and teasing her brother, about anything, who also equally teased her back about being a “demon” (she would be so mad about this - ha ha).

Meghan had many things to be proud of in her short life, but one of the things we are most proud of is the courage and bravery she showed during the most difficult and trying times of her life. We would call her our “Warrior Princess”, and our “Wonder Woman”.

To say Meghan, her mom, dad and brother are a “close, tight knit family” is an understatement, words cannot begin to describe how much we love her and will miss her.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude not only for their dedication to care and professionalism but for their compassion as well, - Doctors Parvathaneni, Mayfield, Sylvistery, Levin, Tillery, all the nurses and amazing staff at Presbyterian Hospital. Also like to express that same gratitude to Doctors Hafen, Harrington, the amazing nurses and staff at Baylor Scott and White Heart Hospital in Plano, TX, as well at the emergency medical transportation teams. A very special thanks to Gretchen Wilson PA, whose help, guidance and sincere compassion we can never repay or express our never-ending gratitude for, you have truly been an Angel here on earth for Meghan and her family.

Meghan we know you will be watching over us, we will never stop loving and missing you.

Love you “Angel Head, “Little Senora", Little Princess” and “Sis Sis”!
