Michael "Big Mike" Chavez age 53, of Albuquerque, NM passed away in his home on Sunday, June 11th, 2017. He was born April 16th, 1964 to Gilbert and Lydia Chavez.

He is preceded in death by his father Gilbert Chavez. Michael is survived by his children, Jacqueline and Joshua Rodgers, SalinaRae Chavez, Breana Chavez and James Padilla; grandchildren Raquel, Dillon and Dominic.

Beloved son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and friend gone too soon and will be greatly missed by many.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at San Felipe de Neri. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 9:30, Eulogy from 9:30-10:00, Mass from 10:00-11:00. Reception to follow at San Jose de Los Duranes Church.
