Mosies Chavez, 84, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

Moises is reunited with his wife of 60 years, Valentina S. Chavez.

Moises is survived by his sons; Ruben Chavez, Romolo Chavez, Juan Chavez, Moises F. Chavez, Juan R. Chavez, daughters; Elizabeth Brill (Robert), Laura Chavez (Priscilla Stevens), eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, Tia Josie, Tia Nancy, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Moises' Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 5:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW 87102. Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Viewing will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 8:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 562 Atrisco Dr SW 87105. Mass will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery located at 2957 Arenal Rd SW 87121 with a reception to follow at Salazar Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Romolo Chavez, Dominic Chavez, Robert Brill, Adam Brill, Anthony Brill, and Rodney Armijo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Antonio Chavez and Valentina Chavez.
