Oscar "Pelon" Perez passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the age of 36.

Oscar is survived by his mother Rosa M. Catano; step-father Ruben; brother Martin Cazares; sister Vanessa Perez; nephews and nieces: Javier Salcido Perez, Natalia Perez, Yomaris Rivera Perez, Aiden Cazares Green, Jayden Rivera Perez, Jordan Rivera Perez, Ariana Cazares Green, Yurani Cazares Green, Luis Cano Perez, Jr.; sister in law Nia lewis; aunts and uncles: Dionicia, Carmela y Chuma, Claudia, Susana y Juan, Angelica y Javier, Tomasa, Jesus y Luz, many cousins who loved him, girlfriend Melissa Rodriguez, also Eliza Rodriguez, John Rodriguez, Santiago Rodrigues and Jeremiah Rodriguez.

Oscar's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW Albuquerque, NM 87102. Rosary will be recited at 8:00 pm. Service will begin at 8:30 pm. Mass will be held on Friday, April 22, 202 at 1:00 pm at St. Teresa of Avila located at 500 E High St. Grants, NM 87020. Oscar will be laid to rest following the Mass at the Grants Memorial Park Cemetery located at 500 W. Roosevelt Ave. Grants, NM 87020.
