Patricia Arredondo, known to friends and family as Trish, was born on October 5, 1952, in El Paso, Texas and passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
A devoted wife and mother, Patricia dedicated nearly 50 years of her life to her husband and to her family, which meant the world to her. She was cherished for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her loved ones.
Trish graduated from the University of Texas El Paso with a BBA and later earned a Master's Degree in Accounting from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She traveled with her husband, David, to New Haven, Connecticut while he completed his medical training. They moved to Albuquerque in 1986 where they both began their careers and their family.
Originally from El Paso, Patricia spent the last 40 years in Albuquerque, where she fully embraced the community. Known for her strong Catholic faith, she found strength and solace in her beliefs, which guided her through life’s joys and the many challenges she faced with a number of chronic illnesses. Patricia had a passion for cooking, particularly when it came to her favorite: Mexican food, a skill she delighted in sharing with family and friends alike.
Her creative spirit was evident in her love for working with stained glass, as well as a keen eye for fashion; Patricia was always well-dressed and made a statement wherever she went. She possessed a natural flair for style that would inspire those around her. Traveling to big cities and experiencing their unique cultures also brought her joy, as she embraced new adventures with an open heart.
Trish was known as a good friend who often went out of her way to help others. Her genuine nature and ability to connect deeply with people were among her most admirable qualities. Trish leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and a profound sense of family that will be remembered by all who knew her.
