Pattie Whitaker, 70, of Albuquerque, passed away at home on August 10, 2023. Pattie was born Patricia M. Haberman on February 11, 1953 in Albuquerque, NM to Alfred and Peggy Haberman.

Pattie was known for her sense of humor, love of animals and her big heart. A graduate of Highland High School, she pursued a career in nursing, becoming an LPN in 1980. For the next 18 years she passionately cared for patients, both in hospitals and private homes, all while raising her two children, Chad and Sissy. She loved camping, gardening and crocheting and in later years enjoyed reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her beloved dogs, Jack and Maggie.

Pattie is survived by her son, Chad (Debbie) Whitaker and their three daughters, Karissa, Abbey and Haley Whitaker, Los Lunas NM; her sisters, Rennie (Robert) Rehm, WI; Linda (Russell Lynn) Haberman, VA; and Alison (Jim) Heim, WI. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her brother, Alfred E. Haberman and daughter, Patricia C. Whitaker.

Pattie’s life celebration service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 11:00am at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St. NE, 87110 with reception to follow.
