Pedro Chavez, 81, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his wife Florinda "Flora" Chavez, parents Salomon and Guadalupe Chavez, twin brother Bernardo "Bernie" Chavez and sister Priscilla Dauber.

Pedro is survived by his brothers: Jacob Chavez, Robert Chavez; sisters: Frances Romero, Anna Maes; adopted daughter Cathy Murphy (Michael); her sons: Shawn Murphy, Thomas Murphy.

Pedro's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 5:00 pm at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St NE, 87110. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Mass will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 9:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 619 Copper Ave NE, 87102. Pedro will be laid to rest following the Mass at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery located at 700 Yale Blvd. NE, 87106.

Pallbearers will be Gabriel Chavez, Gabriel Chavez, Jr., Andrew Padilla, Hector Olivas, Ron Soto, John Maes and Michael Murphy.
