Perfil Garcia Lopez

Perfil Garcia Lopez, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the age of 89.

He is preceded in death by his wife Flora Lopez, daughter Barbara Lopez, grandsons: Jacob Pena, Jr., Joseph Marquez, and James Griego.

Perfil is survived by daughters: Lorraine and husband Bennie Arana, Jennie Torres, son Perfil Richard Lopez, Jr. and wife Mary, step-son Jacob Pena, numerous grandkids, great-grandkids, great-great-grandkids, nieces, and nephews

Born on October 16, 1935, Perfil lived a life characterized by compassion, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. Throughout his lifetime, Perfil was known for his warm smile and generous spirit, touching the hearts of many in his community. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a comforting word. His legacy of love and friendship will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Perfil was known for being a hard and tenacious worker. He started off as a hod carrier for brick layers. He worked his way up to becoming one of New Mexico’s best master masons, and ended his life long career as a foreman for Beaty Construction. He took his career to many heights and made many accomplishments to leave a wonderful legacy for his family to follow.

Perfil Garcia Lopez also leaves behind a rich legacy of love, community, and faith, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He would always say, “Go with God”.

A Rosary will be recited in Perfil's honor on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Charles of Borromeo Catholic Church, located at 1818 Coal Place SE, 87106. Mass will begin at 10:30 AM. Following the Mass, Perfil will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery, located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102. Reception will follow at the Moose Lodge located at 2121 Edith Blvd. NE, 87102. PLEASE ONLY USE ENTRANCE OFF ARVADA ST. IF YOU ARE ATTENDING RECEPTION. 

Pallbearers will be Lawrence Lopez, Johnny Lopez, Adrian Lopez, Adam Lopez, Joshua Lopez, and Michael Saavedra, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Marcus Marquez, Audrey Pena, Marie Torres, Jacqulyn Lopez, Sonia Saavedra, Roberta Marquez, and Marissa Arana.
