Ray Valenzuela

Ray Valenzuela, 74, after a long battle with COPD, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, January 9, 2020.

Ray was born on November 2, 1945 and was a longtime resident of his beloved Magdalena. Ray had been living in Albuquerque, with his niece Cathy Spears and her family, and passed away at Kaseman In­-patient Hospice.

Ray is survived by his brother Melcor Valenzuela (Mary), and his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and treasured friends.

He is proceeded by his parents; Gregorio Valenzuela and Regina Rodriguez Valenzuela. Brothers; Albert Mora, Junior Valenzuela, Pedro Valenzuela (Magdalena). Sisters; Bernice Valenzuela, Josie Chavez, Eufrasia Torres (Tomas).

Ray’s Life Celebration will begin with a Catholic Service on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 11:00am at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Magdalena, NM, with a private burial. Family and Friends can gather at the Parish Hall after the Service to share memories.

Pallbearers will be; Shylo Spears, Keegan Spears, Quinlan Spears, Michael Valenzuela, and Adolfo Baca.
