Robert Lee Maestas "Chuco"

Robert Lee Maestas "Chuco", 78, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Maestas; mother Louise Maestas; father Max Maestas; brother Alberto Maestas; sisters: Jenny Lou Maestas, Susan Maestas, Rose Garcia, Mary Lucero; and grandson Isaiah Maestas.

He is survived by his sons: Angelo Maestas, Alfonso Maestas (Sylvia Large), Roberto Maestas (Maria), Max Maestas (Kelly Maberry), Emiliano Maestas; daughter Marcella White (Salvador); sisters: Josephine Griego (Bernardo), Georgia Sedillo, and Cresella Madrid (Michael); 11 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Robert's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 4:00pm at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St. NE, 87110. Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Final Viewing will take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 10:30am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church located at 1818 Coal Place SE, 87106. Mass will begin at 11:00am. Robert will then be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.

Pallbearers will be his children Angelo Maestas, Alfonso Maestas, Roberto Maestas, Max Maestas, Marcella White, and Emiliano Maestas.
