Shirley Ann Rose Hellman

Shirley Ann Rose Hellman, affectionately called "Bunny" by her father, was born October 3, 1946 in Riverside, CA and was called to be with her Lord on Monday, March 6, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leon "Doc" and Mary Hellman. She is survived by many lifelong friends who loved her dearly.

Shirley lived a remarkable life. She had many talents and nothing held her back. Her family moved to Albuquerque in the early 1950's. She attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Elementary School, Taft Jr. High, Valley High School (Class of 1964), and received her degree in Business from St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande in 1968. After teaching Business at Albuquerque High School, she relocated to California for a while but returned to Albuquerque to open Hi-Style Vintage Clothing. After a successful run, she ventured to Wisconsin but again returned home where she remained. Shirley loved all animals but especially horses and her beloved cats. Shirley will be remembered as a beautiful and caring woman.

Shirley's Life Celebration will begin with a Graveside Service on Saturday, March 25, 2017 11:00 a.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery (1900 Edith NE).
