Steven was the son of Dorothy Archuleta Romero and Mike Romero; younger brother to Michael Eugene Romero, Santiago Juan Romero and Angela Romero; though he did not have any children he was a loving uncle to his nephews and nieces that he left behind: Santiago Romero 20, Isabella Romero 19, Nathalia Romero 9, Kasandra Rael 21, Angelo Montoya 20, Miguel Romero 19, and Ruben Romero 17, he was like a father, brother, and best friend to each of them.

Born on May 29, 1982, in San Antonio, Texas, Steven was a vibrant soul who enjoyed life to the fullest, leaving an indelible mark on all those he encountered.

Steven spent a significant part of his career at Rudy's BBQ, where his love for people and his vibrant personality shone brightly. His dedication and hard work were evident to all, and he was respected for his unwavering commitment to excellence.
