Susan Helen Alarid

Susan Helen Alarid, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the age of 79.

Born on May 22, 1946, Susan lived a full life after retiring from the U.S. Forest Service, that she filled with family, her dogs and dedicated time to helping others which is representative of her generous spirit that touched those around her.

Susan will be honored by family and friends with a Mass on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 619 Copper Ave. SW 87102. Reception will follow at Salazar Mortuary’s Event Center located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102.

As we remember Susan Helen Alarid, she leaves a legacy of her giving spirit, witty sense of humor, love for family and dogs, and her faith in God; none which will be forgotten in her absence.
