Susan Guzman

Our beloved Susan Guzman, 77, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026.

She is survived by her loving children: Iris Guzman, Luis Guzman, Steven Guzman; treasured grandchildren: Ashley Romero, Anthony Trujillo, Shanea Guzman, Luna Natoli, Ysidro Guzman, Zayden Sanchez Romero, Zia Romero, along with eight brothers and sisters. Her nurturing spirit and love will continue to shine through each of them.

Born on April 3, 1948, she lived a life filled with faith, love, and devotion to her family and community.

Susan’s deep passion for God and Jesus Christ guided her every step. She dedicated many years to teaching catechism in the Catholic Church, sharing her faith and touching the hearts of countless children and families.

Born into a large family of ten children, Susan stood proudly beside her mother, Virginia Trujillo, helping to care for and guide those around her with compassion, strength, and grace.

Susan M. Guzman’s life was a beautiful testament to faith, kindness, and generosity. Her love will forever remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Susan's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 5:00pm at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St. NE, 87110. Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 9:00am at Mount Calvary Cemetery Chapel located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Luis, Steven, Zayden, Joey Jr., Anthony, and Louie Sr.
