Terry Jassmann

Terry Jassmann Passed peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the age of 76.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Fran Rosenstein, brother Robert, and wife Catherine Johnson.

Terry is survived by his daughters: Simone, Shondie, Tanya and her husband Bret, sons: Jason and wife Nina, son Jack and wife Armida, grandchildren: Sean, John, Taylor, Conner, Jayden, Ditta, Jared, Malcolm, Izabel, and great-grandsons: Desmond, and Luke.

Terry was born in Paris, France on August 10, 1947. He was raised in New York where he graduated from Roslyn High school. He then pursued a degree in art by attending the San Francisco art institute.

Terry had several passions as he was a chef at Al Monte’s in Albuquerque for several years and always had a love for cooking. He later learned construction and worked as a self employed handyman for over twenty years. Terry was an incredibly talented artist, known to those closest to him for his meticulous charcoal drawings and sculptural work. His attention to detail and creativity were evident in everything he created.

He had an immense love for music, especially jazz, and his record collection was legendary—one that could rival and impress even the most serious collectors. Art and music were lifelong companions that brought him joy and meaning.

In his retirement Terry turned his attention to photography which he always had a passion for, traveling around the southwest taking thousands of stunning photos.
