He was preceded in death by his parents Esequiel and Celina Apodaca.

He is survived by his wife Christine; three sons: Leonard, Miguel, Roger; five brothers: Richard, Frank, Steve, Joe, Phillip; four sisters: Mary, Rita, Mona and Laura. He also left behind many nieces and nephews.

Born on December 21, 1946, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tomas's life was a testament to the values of hard work, devotion to family, and unwavering faith.

A master carpenter by trade, Tomas's skilled hands and keen eye for detail were evident in every project he touched. Tomas’ Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 6:00pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102. Service will begin at 6:30pm. Reception will follow inside Salazar Mortuary’s Event Center.
