He was preceded in death by his father Higinio Castañeda Martinez, mother Ma. Eugenia Pacheco Barrera, brothers: Natividad, Enrique, and Joel.

Vicente was survived by his wife Frances C. Castañeda, son Jorge Castañeda and wife Concepción, daughter Norma Castañeda and husband Felipe, stepdaughter Antoinette Ramirez, stepson Michael Ramirez and wife Sabina, grandchildren: Ricardo, Jorge, Nayely, Javier, Jose Angel, Ximena, Nicole, Benny, Mickey, Patrick; great-grandchildren: Jeremiah Milan, Topacio, Benny Jr., Nayomi, Giovanni; sibilings: Salvador, Nazario, Juan Antonio, José Guadalupe, Evangelina, and Laura Estela.

Vicente’s Life Celebration will begin with a visitation on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 1:00pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 4:00pm. Service will begin at 4:30pm.
