Victor P. Garcia

Victor P. Garcia, age 50, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Albert and Leonor (Garcia) Anaya, Phillip and Stella Beltran, as well as his childhood best friend John P. Jones.

Victor is survived by his parents Victor and Phyllis (Beltran) Garcia; sister Michelle Garcia; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will carry his memory forward.

Born on December 27, 1975, in Tucumcari, New Mexico, Victor grew up in El Paso, Texas, and relocated to New Mexico in 1997. He went on to earn an Associate’s degree in Business in 2006. Though he faced many of life’s challenges, he met each day with a renewed sense of purpose.

Victor found joy in the simple and meaningful things such as riding his bike to church, listening to music, following sports, and shopping. His home was always open to family and friends, and he welcomed anyone in need.

Above all, Victor loved his family and his dog’s Oreo and Scrumptious. He shared a special bond with his mother, Phyllis, that was unlike any other a relationship that embodied unconditional love.

Though his time with us feels far too short, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, loved him, and embraced him for Exactly who he was. We will forever treasure his unique presence in this world.

Victor's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 2:00pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 4:00pm. Service will be held at 4:30pm. Reception will begin at 5:30pm.
