Anthony "Tone" Padilla

Devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Anthony "Tone" Angel Padilla was called to his final resting place in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the age of 41.

Awaiting Anthony's arrival at the gates of Heaven were his father Paul Padilla and father-in-law Steve Aranda.

Anthony is survived by his wife of 23 years Alysha Aranda; mother Flora Padilla; sons: Anthony Padilla, Gabriel Padilla, Joshua Padilla; daughter Raeanne Padilla; God daughter Aaliyah Alderete; brother Paul Padilla; nieces: Marianna Padilla, Alexis Aranda, Alyssa Aranda; nephews: Andres Padilla, Joseph Alderete, Stevan Aranda; mother-in-law Geraldine Aranda; brother-in-law Stevan Aranda; sister-in-laws Peggy Padilla, Elisia Garcia; along with many other family members, friends, and "brothers".

Anthony entered this world on January 27, 1980 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was adopted by Paul and Flora Padilla.

Anthony was a person of kind words. He was always a listening ear. He was a loving and proud father.

He fought a good fight and will be greatly missed. 

He now lives on in our hearts and is the guardian angel for his family.

We love you Anthony, "Forever and Always".

Anthony's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Mass will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church located at 1400 Arenal Rd. SW, 87105. Anthony will be laid to rest following the Mass at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery located at 2957 Arenal Rd. SW, 87121.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Padilla, Gabriel Padilla, Stevan Aranda, Mark Alderete, Andres Padilla, Richard Valdez, Fabian Gonzales, and George Villarruel.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Garcia, Stevan Chavez, and Joseph Alderete.
