Whether spending time with her family, birdwatching from her window, or cheering on her favorite football teams and golf on TV, Carmel found joy in the simple pleasures. At family gatherings, she'd eagerly join in on a poker game, adding her dollar or two to the pot. Her love for a cold Coronita cerveza, the thrill of traveling, and the lively atmosphere of the state fair reflected her ability to find happiness in everyday moments.
