Frank E. Sisneros Obituary

Beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, Frank E. Sisneros, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the age of 86.

Frank is preceded in death by his son Steven Sisneros; daughter Sandy Sisneros; father Eugenio Sisneros; mother Deluvina Valdez; step-father Don Cruz Valdez; brother Joe Valdez; sisters: Marcella Sisneros, and Erlinda Sisneros.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Mable Sisneros; son Edward Sisneros, Sr.; daughter Debbie Sisneros; brother Ted Sisneros and wife Mina; sisters: Lydia Sakelaris, Sylvia Barr and husband Ted, sister-in-law Sylvia Griego; grandchildren: Edward Sisneros, Jr., Landon Ferguson Sisneros; great-grandchildren: Steven Garcia Sisneros, Vincent Clary Sisneros, also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Frank was born on May 15, 1935 in Mora, New Mexico. He was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He attended Albuquerque High School for a time and graduated from Valley High School. In 1964 he married the love of his life, Mable. They had four children.

Frank was a truck driver for his entire career. Over the years he was employed with Associated Grocers, Roadway, and Yellow Freight and he was given numerous awards for "Accident Free Driving". He traveled the world and saw many landmarks. He had a love for classic cars, especially his 57' Chevy Belair, 57' Chevy Truck, and his 72' Chevy Impala. He along with his step-father built his North Valley home. He grew a giant garden. In his garden he planted cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, cabbage, zucchini, yellow squash, yellow hots, cantaloupe, and chile. He will make his own ristras from his delicious chile. He would happily give vegetables to family, friends, and neighbors. He would help his family, friends, and even strangers if they were in a tough situation. He was very compassionate towards the homeless community, he would always give them money.

Frank will be greatly missed.

Frank's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 7:30 am at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Mass will take place at 9:00am Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church located at 3424 4th St NW, 87107. Frank will be laid to rest on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 10:30 am at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.

Masks are MANDATORY to enter Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church. Even if you are fully vaccinated.
