Julian E. Hoehne Obituary

Julian E. Hoehne went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 18, 2021.

Julian is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Marcella; parents: Julian and Teresa Hoehne; sisters: Ester and Gloria; and brother Charles.

He is survived by his son Martin Hoehne; daughter and son-in-law Carla and Jim West; brothers-in-law: Eloy Ulibarri, Mel Zamora and sister-in-law Dee Sanchez; two grandchildren: Sarah Marvil and Jessica Ashler (husband Justin); and three great grandchildren: Mariyah, Dominic, and Madelyn along with many nieces and nephews.

Julian is a veteran of the United States Navy and served aboard the USS Alsea during the Korean War. He loved fishing, chipping arrowheads and reading.

Julian’s Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. also at Salazar Mortuary. Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 9:30 a.m at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church located at 2005 N. Plaza St. NW, 87104. Julian will be laid to rest with military honors at 12:45 pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery located at 501 N Guadalupe St Santa Fe, 87501. 

Pallbearers will be Ricky Hoehne, Andy Hoehne, Steven Ulibarri, David Zamora, Troy Sanchez, Jeremy Saenz, Doug Allen, and Robert Chavez

The Rosary will be LiveStreamed through Salazar Mortuary's Facebook page. You do NOT need an account to view the livestream. Julian's Mass will be LiveStreamed through San Felipe's YouTube channel. (Please follow the link below, then scroll to the section "Watch our liturgy LIVE"--HOWEVER, if you start and the mass hasn't started, you will need to refresh your screen until the service goes live.)   The Committal service will be LiveStreamed through Salazar Mortuary's Facebook page. Please click the links below at the scheduled times for the event you would like to view.

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend Julian's services.
