Kenneth McCullough Obituary

Kenneth R. McCullough passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the age of 61.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his sister Patricia Jackson; granddaughter Maddie McCullough, and his loyal dogs: Tilly and Cherry.

He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend Theresa McCullough; three children: LeAnne, Katie (Brian), Tim (Heaven); four beautiful grandchildren that he adored: Lecie, Kaiah, Niko, Milo; and two siblings: Johnny and Debbie.

Kenneth was born in Roswell, New Mexico to Vivian and Lloyd McCullough. He spent 22 years traveling all over the world in the Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant. After his time in the military, he started a new career in nursing.  He was a Nurse at UNMH and an Assistant Nursing Manager at the VA hospital. He worked hard and earned his master’s degree in Nursing. Shortly before his passing, Ken was recognized for 30 years of service with the military; 22 years of active service and 8 years of dedication to the VA hospital.

He was beloved to all who knew him and could light up any room he walked into just with his smile. Ken was happy, loved to joke, and above all loved everyone so deeply and thoughtfully. He enjoyed staying active by swimming, hiking, or walking the many nature trails around the Albuquerque metro area.

He will be deeply missed by his huge family and countless friends near and far.
