Louis Haun, affectionately known as "Waterdogg", passed away peacefully in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, just days after his 63rd birthday.
Louis was preceded in death by his father Joe Walter Haun and brother Donny.
He is survived by his mother Cecilia, wife Rochelle, children: Joslyn and Anthony, Joshua and Nabila, Samantha and Ross; grandchildren: Elijah, Luveah, Anthony, Josiah, Renee, Isaiah; brother Leland and Helen, Angela, Bryan; sister Mary Joe and David thier children.
Born on November 4, 1960 in Tucumcari, New Mexico, Louis was renowned for his energetic personality and contagious humor and was frequently described as passionate, funny, and exceptionally handy.
Waterdogg, as he was known by many, had a profound love for the great outdoors. Countless joyous memories were formed through his favorite pastimes of camping, fishing, and visiting the lake. No hurdle was too big for his handy capabilities, and he took every opportunity to work on diesel trucks, integrating his love for mechanics into his everyday life. As the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan, his boisterous cheers on game day will be profoundly missed.
Louis 'Waterdogg' Haun's passionate presence, captivating charisma, and unyielding vitality will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His vibrant laughter and spirited stories remind us to celebrate life, just as he did.
Louis’s life celebration will begin with a visitation at 12:00 p.m. at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St NE, 87110. Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Reception will follow at Duke City Even and Flowers located at 2823 2nd St., NW, 87107.
Pallbearers will be Elijah, Anthony, Jr., Jolsiah, and Devin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Joshua, Bryan, Anthony, and Ross.
