Mary Louise "Vernal" Gallegos

Beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Mary Louise "Vernal" Gallegos, was called home to the Lord on Monday, February 8, 2021 at the age of 69.

Mary was born in Monte Vista, Colorado and resided in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her mother Rose A. Gallegos, father Raymond Gallegos, nephew Ricky Flores, Sr., and niece Teresa Flores.

Mary was survived by her daughter Barbara Gallegos (Jeffery Anderson); granddaughters: Amanda Chavez (Albert) , Cassandra Peralta; great-granddaughters: Alice Chavez, Abigail Chavez; sisters: Esther Flores (Melton), Glenda; also several of nieces and nephews that loved her so dearly from Albuquerque, NM and South Carolina.

Mary was extremely loved and will forever be missed.

Mary's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 7:00am at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 8:30am at St. Anne's Catholic Church located at 1400 Arenal Blvd. SW, 87105. Mass will begin at 9:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Pajarito Cemetery located at 5811 Coors Blvd SW, 87121.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery Anderson, Albert Chavez, Paul Flores, Joey Flores, Ricky Flores, and Matthew Flores.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Melton Flores.

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend the Visitation, Rosary, Mass, and Burial. St. Anne's Catholic Church has a capacity of 75 people. Pajarito Cemetery asks that all attendees practice social distancing.
