Mathias " Matty" Romero

Mathias “Matty” Romero, 82, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019.

Mathias is preceded in death by his parents Mathias and Victoriana Romero, brothers; Eddie, Joe and Carlos.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary D. Romero, sons; Matty (Virginia), Frank, Bobby (Sue Atencio), daughters; Liz (Dave), Cathie (Herman), 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Mathias’ Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW 87102. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm. Service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 10:00 am at Salazar Mortuary. Interment will follow Service at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery located at 2957 Arenal Rd SW 87121. 

Pallberers will be Herman Aragon, Josh Garcia, Matty Romero, Ed Romero, Dale Romero and Anthony Romero.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Nicole Aragon, Francesca Romero, Alexandrea Romero, Krystin Romero, and Jennifer Romero.
