Obituary

Michael W. Lovato, affectionately known as Mike, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, in his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He is survived by his parents Tony and Mary Lovato; brother Anthony Lovato; sisters: Joan Vanessen, Josie Lucero, Bessie Leyba, also many nieces and nephews who loved him.

Born on October 21, 1958, Mike was a loving, generous, and spirited individual who left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

Mike's professional life was marked by his involvement with Moxy and ARCA, where he made significant contributions. His dedication and commitment to his work were evident in the way he carried himself and interacted with his colleagues. He was a respected figure in his field, known for his ability to inspire and motivate those around him.

Outside of work, Mike had a zest for life that was contagious. He was a film enthusiast, often the first in line at the local cinema. His love for the movies was only matched by his love for the state fairs. Mike was always the first one at these events, soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying the festivities.

Mike had a unique hobby of riding city buses just for the sheer joy of going out and exploring. He loved traveling anywhere and everywhere, always ready for a new adventure. His travels were often accompanied by his collection of pictures, stuffed animals, and various trinkets that he cherished. These items were more than just collectibles to Mike; they were memories of the places he had been and the experiences he had had.

In conclusion, Mike was a man who lived his life to the fullest. He was a beacon of positivity, always ready with a smile and a kind word. His generous spirit and love for life will be remembered by all who knew him. As we mourn the loss of Mike, we also celebrate the life he lived and the joy he brought to those around him. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
