Morris Garcia

Mr. Morris Garcia, 77, went to be with his Savior on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his wife Rose (they would have been married 60 years in March 2022) and daughter Armanda (whom he took many trips with).

Morris is survived by his sons: Juan Garcia (Adia), Martin Garcia (Christine), Tim Garcia (Jody), Anthony Garcia, Juan Velasquez (Kimberly), Eric Winfield; daughters: Brigitte Olivas (James), Mary Bell; siblings: Joe Garcia, Juanita Maestas, also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and an inspiration to all. He was a jokester who loved telling funny stories and making people laugh and smile. 

Morris' Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on  Monday, April 11, 2022 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St NE, 87110. Final Viewing will take place on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church located at 1860 Griegos Rd NW, 87107. Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am. Mass will begin at 11:00am. Following the Mass, Morris will be laid to rest with Rose at the Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.

Pallbearers will be Juanito Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Joshua Garcia, Martin Garcia, Diego Garcia, and Juan Velasquez.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Carmela Garcia, Isaiah Garcia, Gabrielle Garcia, Aubrey Garcia, Morrissa Garcia and Timara Garcia.
