Patricia A. Orozco Obituary

Patricia A. Orozco, went into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her former spouse of 25 years Antonio Felix, their infant daughter Paula; sons: Anthony, James, Ronald and son-in-law Steve.

Pat is survived by her daughters: Dellamarie Salazar, Norvalu Aragon (Leo), eight grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, also many nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was born on November 16, 1938 and was the youngest and last survivor of 13 children born to Ricardo and Delfinia Montoya Orozco.

Pat will be remembered by different names as well as different occupations. Some knew her as Patricia, Patsy, Pat, Mom, Nana, nurse, seamstress, social worker, teacher, volunteer, decorator, friend. She was thankful for the times she spent with her family, cherishing the tradition of taking each one of her family members out to eat for their birthday. Being the generous and outgoing person she was, Pat enjoyed traveling and volunteering.  In recent years, Pat attended and volunteered at the Barelas and Los Volcanes Senior Center on a regular basis.

Most importantly, Patricia loved the Lord and constantly spoke of her faith and the role it played in her life. She was truly loved and will be greatly missed by so many.

We would like to celebrate her life and step away from tradition by wearing colorful attire.

Pat's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 8:15am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church located at 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW, 87105. Mass will begin at 9:00am. Pat will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102. Reception will follow at Calvary Chapel SW, located at 6510 Fortuna Rd NW, 87121.

Pallbearers will be Nana's grandsons and great-grandsons: Ambrose Felix, Leo Aragon III, Paul Orr-Salazar and Santiago Quintana.

Honorary Pallbearers will be great-grandsons: Mathew Chavez, Frank Franco III and Titus Dominguez.
