Reynaldo "Wero" Lucero

Reynaldo "Wero" Lucero, 88, went to be with our Lord on Monday, April 25, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his father Jose Lucero, mother Rosita Lucero, 10 brothers and 3 sisters.

Reynaldo is survived by his wife of 63 years Lucy Lucero; son Albert Lucero; daughters: Sophia Lucero (John Wagner), Christine Aguilar (Eugene); 6 grandchildren: Melissa Escarcida (Sean), Nicole Morlan, Hollie Morlan, Mark Aguilar, Tiffany Gil (Jason), Nicholas Aguilar; 14 great-grandchildren: Emilia Lujan, Amaya Lucero, Mariah Escarcida, Isaiah Escarcida, Jonah Martinez, Nikko Martinez, Raven Montoya, Faith Chavez, Savannah Buckheit, Lily Gil, Elias Gil, Luciano Gil, Jazlynn Aguilar, Elena Aguilar; and 4 great-great-grandchildren: Ramaiah Baham, Willow Barnes, Ilian Escarcida, Alaia Buckheit.

Reynaldo was a jack of all trades. He loved gardening and making red chile. Some of his favorite sayings were, "Me too Lupe", "Indita", "Weda Wedinche".

Reynaldo's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 8:30am at The Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church located at 3424 Fourth St NW, 87107. Rosary will be recited at 9:00am. Mass will begin at 9:30am. Reynaldo will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.

Pallbearers will be Mark Aguilar, Nicholas Aguilar, Sean Escarcida, Isaiah Escarcida, Jason Gil, and Timothy Lucero.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Matthew Lucero.
