Rosemary Caroline Aguilar

Beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, Rosemary Aguilar, was called home by the Lord on Monday, March 1, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her father Santiago Felipe Aguilar, mother Clara Aguilar, grandfather Eulalio Torres, and grandmother Sinfora Torres.

Rosemary is survived by her daughter Lilly Castillo; son Omar Cordero; brothers: Michael Aguilar, Rudolfo Aguilar, Santiago Felipe Aguilar, Jr., Adam Tapia, David Tapia; sisters: Adelina Mora, Lucinda Roberts, Bernadette Tapia, Kathy Tapia, Clara Tapia; grandchildren: Jasmine Castillo, Adrian Castillo, Esperanza Gomez, Omar Cordero, Jr., Desiree Cordero; great grandchild Soraya Zukowski, and 2 more great grandchildren on the way. 

 She was born, raised, and was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She was always willing to help and serve her family and community as she spent her life working in the service industry. She loved to spend time with her family and she really enjoyed shopping. She also loved to go to church and was a parishioner at Santuario de San Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Albuquerque. She worked very hard her whole life to provide a great life for her family and she will greatly be missed.

Her life and legacy will live on through all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will forever love and miss you but we know that you are in paradise now.  

Rosemary's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 8:30 am at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Service will be held at 10:30am at Santuario de San Martin de Porres Catholic Church located at 8321 Camino San Martin SW, 87121. The mass will be livestreamed--please click the link below.  She will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery following the Service. Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend all of Rosemary's services. Salazar Mortuary is allowed to have 10 people inside the funeral home at one time. We ask that all attendees wait INSIDE of their vehicles until we are ready to escort in the next group. Santuario de San Martin de Porres Catholic Church has a capacity of 35 people allowed for the Service. Mount Calvary is allowed to have 10 people at the graveside and asks that all attendees stand back in socially-distant groups.

Paradise Found

We know you're no longer with us, and it so hard that you're not here,

we see your face in everything and hear your voice so dear,

your smiling face, your warm embrace we really miss the most,

But you have made you're way to Heaven to be with the Lord of Host.

We will always hold you close to us, deeply in our hearts,

It just so hard to say goodbye I wish we'd never part.

But I know a piece of us is with you as you loved with all your heart.

So we send our love up to Heaven as our hearts are forever bound,

We know you made it home and paradise is found!
