Vicenta Lozano Portillo

Vicenta Lozano Portillo, 79, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

Vicenta is preceded in death by her son, Rene Portillo; and parents, Pascual Lozano and Maria Chavira. 

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Carlos Portillo; children, Gilberto Portillo, Jorge Portillo, Saul Portillo, Carlos Portillo, and Delia Ortega; brother, Carlos Lozano; sister, Hilaria Lozano; 20 grandchildren and 24 great- grandchildren.

Vicenta was the best wife, mother, and grandmother. She will always be remembered for her strength. 

Pallbearers will be Gilberto Portillo, Jorge Portillo, Saul Portillo, Gilberto Portillo, Jr., Carlos Portillo, and Alfredo Ortega. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Carlos Portillo Rios and Jorge Portillo. 

Vicenta's life celebration will begin with a visitation on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St NE, 87110. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. A final viewing will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. also at Reflections Chapel. Mass will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church located at 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, 87105. Vicenta will be laid to rest following the mass at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery located at 924 Menaul Blvd NE, 87107.
